Privacy Policy

1. Scope
This policy explains how Sabeeha Luhukay ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the NovelaGo iOS app and this support site.
2. Information handled by the app
Information you create
You can save titles to a watchlist, assign personal ratings, write private notes, keep recent searches, and schedule release reminders. This information is stored in the app container on your device. We do not receive it, create a user profile from it, or share it with other users.
Technical requests
The submitted app includes a bundled catalogue and does not require an account or publisher catalogue server. When artwork is loaded from The Movie Database (TMDB) image service, that provider and ordinary network intermediaries may process technical request data such as IP address, request time, device network information, and the requested image path. Support requests
If you email support, we receive your email address and message. Please do not send passwords, payment information, private notes, or other sensitive data.
3. How information is used
On-device information is used only to provide the feature you selected. Support messages are used to respond, diagnose issues, protect the service, and comply with law. We do not use this information for targeted advertising, profiling, or cross-app tracking.
4. Sharing and sale
We do not sell or share personal information for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not disclose your local watchlist, ratings, notes, or searches. Technical request data may be handled by Apple, TMDB, hosting and network providers as needed to deliver their services. We may disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.
5. Retention and security
Local app data remains on your device until you remove it or delete the app, subject to your iOS backup settings. Support messages are retained only as reasonably needed to respond, keep required records, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable safeguards, but no electronic system is completely secure.
6. Your choices and rights
You can change or remove watchlist entries, ratings, and notes in the app. You can clear app data by deleting the app and can manage notification permission in iOS Settings. Depending on where you live, including the Philippines or a US state with an applicable privacy law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or information about our handling of personal information. You may also appeal a denied request where local law provides that right. We may verify a request before responding.
7. Children
NovelaGo is not directed to children and is not offered in Apple's Kids Category. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
8. International processing
Apple, TMDB, email, hosting, and network providers may process technical or support information in countries other than yours. Where required, applicable contractual or legal safeguards govern those transfers.
9. Changes
We may update this policy when the app or applicable law changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. We will provide additional notice when required by law.
